Description: These are unmatted prints of original ink drawings with digitally collaged watercolor. Based on the writings of Galen and Discorides as well as the Greek Magical Papyri (see PGM XII: 401-44), each illustration depicts an herb and its code name counterpart. Code names have been used in grimoires to conceal the nature of herbal and magical recipes from the general populace. They are available in standard 8 x 10" size. Printed with archival inks on sustainable straw paper by Mohawk. Each print will be packaged with a protective clear compostable sleeve with recycled backer board. (Frame is for photographic purposes only - prints come packaged as described above.)
